Commissioned salespeople always have a bias hovering over their advice: Who benefits most—the client or the agent?   This question is becoming even more important as the number of Medicare plans paying commissions declines.  Making the questions for brokers: "Am I being paid on this?"

You deserve unbiased, trustworthy guidance from a fiduciary working for you, not a commission. Your health coverage is too important to pinch pennies.

We are Medicare Advisors—not brokers, not volunteers.

As the Medicare market and clients’ needs have evolved, we’ve updated our approach. Moving to a fee-based model ensures we provide unbiased, professional advice, focused solely on what’s right for you.

The difference:

• Independent Insurance Broker – Represents a limited number of carriers who pay the agent a commission for enrolling you in their plans. They cannot represent every option available to you.

• Insurance Advisor – A fee-based professional, paid by you, with a fiduciary duty to provide unbiased advice across all available options.

We provide truly unbiased Medicare advice—from all available plans, not just the ones that pay commissions.

Relying on commissions can create conflicts. Many brokers only show plans that earn them money, even though there may be better options for you.

Medicare requires this disclaimer in broker materials:

"As a broker, we do not offer every plan available to you in your county.  For a full list go to Medicare.gov or your local SHiNE office"

That doesn’t mean the broker is obligated to find the best plan for you—it’s often used as an excuse to limit choices. We don’t do that!  Our committment to you, to offer you the BEST plan available to you in your locale.
