Our Process
No matter who we are working with, our goal is to educate.
There is no "best" plan. There is only what is "best" for you, given your current circumstances...health, budget, travel expectations, state of residence, etc.
Over the years we have developed the following process to enable us to help you move efficiently and confidently through the Medicare maze so that you have the time to have your questions answered and make your decisions with confidence and without pressure.
Health Insurance is a very personal decision.
Raw numbers are easy to provide and review. However, it is the intangibles that you, and possibly your spouse, need to think about to ensure that you are (both) comfortable with the plan you are considering...beyond mere numbers!
Our process includes...
-
Initial Meeting (via phone or zoom) - This is a 30-minute meeting to allow us to introduce ourselves and our services, provide an overview of the Medicare System, answer your questions and establish a time line for moving forward...IF you decide you want to engage us.
-
Information Gathering - In order to guide you we will need some general information pertaining to your overall health, travel plans, etc. as well as specific information about prescriptions and providers. This information can be provided using a secure on-line form (button below) or for those less technologically saavy, via email or phone.
-
Research - This is done by our staff "behind the scenes". Here we take the information your provide and use it to compare the plans and options available to you based on where you live.
-
Plan Presentation Meeting - This will be a follow-up meeting to discuss our plan recommendations, the pros & cons of each option and of course answer any questions you have. We will also provide plan details so that you will have a hard copy to review and discuss.
-
Implementation Meeting - A final meeting to review any lingering questions and discuss enrollment details.
-
Enrollment - Enrolling you in the plan(s) you have decided upon
-
Follow Up - This is not a set time but periodic "checkins" to make sure that the plan(s) is performing as expected, ensure that you haven't had any difficulties and are taking advantage of all that your plan offers.
-
Annual Enrollment Period - Our annual review of your current plan, a review of the changes for coming year and a strategy for moving forward by either keeping the same plans or moving to others as a result of changes in your needs or external changes impacting your coverage.
