Received a call from their adult daughter asking if i could assist them with their Part D Drug Plans.

They were on idential Part D plans, despite having very different drug needs.

We performed a full analysis on each of their extensive medications lists.  Including an expensive glaucoma medication for Rebecca.

Our recommendation was for each of them to change plans but NOT to the same one.  One carrier for Morris, and another for Rebecca.

Combined, this resulted in savings of nearly $2100 for the first year we worked together!

Shortly after the plan going into effect, Rebecca ran into difficulties at the pharmacy.  I spoke with her pharmacist to find out what the problem was and then called the carrier to resolve the issue. 

Every year since, Rebecca mails me their list of medications (she does not use computers) at the start of Open Enrollment and we review to see if it makes sense to change plans for the coming year based upon changes in the plans as well as changes to their prescriptions.
